   Watson Norie Ltd – South Hook LNG Project:

SP Safety Services Ltd supplied Project Heath, Safety and Environmental Management to Watson Norie who were the main Electrical and Mechanical Contractor on the £1.4 billion South Hook LNG Project.

"SP Safety Services Ltd were employed by Watson Norie Ltd on the South Hook LNG Project.

SP Safety Services provided Site Safety Resources and procedures to enable Watson Norie Ltd to safely manage 150 on Site Operatives and 50 office based Engineers and Technical Support Staff whilst engaged in the Design, Procurement, Installation & Commissioning of Electrical & Instrumentation at the South Hook LNG Plant.

South Hook LNG Plant Site extends to an area of some 4 square miles and involved significant safety related challenges. All site movement of personnel was by vehicle with very limited pedestrian access way.

The workscope involved working from height, working with other trades with the hazards of craneage, welding, pressure testing etc.. and the greater part of the work involved working externally in the elements.

This was an explosion risk site and it is great credit to SP Safety Services Ltd that Watson Norie Ltd recorded no lost time accidents and maintained a safe working environment for its employees and other associated trades."
